Citizens of Ottawa deserve to know why the LRT system is so unreliable and what the city and OC Transpo plan to do to make the transit system function. These things are important:
1. Transit riders need to hear a short-term plan for how we are going to survive the coming winter …
- Will more shelter be provided at specific stations?
- Will some routes be restored?
- Will we need parallel bus service?
2. Transit riders deserve a long-term plan on how to make transit in this city affordable, accessible, and efficient
3. All citizens are entitled to a review of how we got into this mess in the first place and how to avoid the same issues cropping up in phase 2.
- Are we getting what we paid for? Did councillors vote for cheap, unreliable service?
- Why did the city fail to consult adequately? Will they consult better next time?
- Is PPP really the best way to build a transit system?

Les citoyens d'Ottawa méritent de savoir pourquoi le réseau de TLR est si peu fiable et ce que la ville et OC Transpo prévoient faire pour que le réseau de transport en commun fonctionne. Ces choses sont importantes :
1. Les usagers du transport en commun ont besoin d'entendre un plan à court terme sur la façon dont nous allons survivre l'hiver prochain ...
- Aurons-nous besoin d'un service d'autobus parallèle?
- Davantage d'abris seront-ils fournis à des stations spécifiques?
- Certains itinéraires seront-ils restaurés?
2. Les usagers du transport en commun méritent un plan à long terme sur la façon de rendre le transport en commun abordable, accessible et efficace dans cette ville.
3. Tous les citoyens ont le droit de savoir comment nous nous sommes mis dans ce pétrin et comment éviter que les mêmes problèmes n'apparaissent dans la phase 2
- Est-ce qu'on en a pour notre argent ? Les conseillers municipaux ont-ils voté pour un service bon marché et peu fiable ?
- Pourquoi la ville n'a-t-elle pas mené de consultations adéquates ? Consulteront-ils mieux la prochaine fois ?
